Our journey commences as we bid farewell to Sidi Ifni and set our course for Tafraoute, retracing our steps back to Tiznit. However, we'll soon embark on a new path, leading us through the breathtaking Anti Atlas Mountains. As we traverse this picturesque region, you'll have numerous opportunities to pause and take in the stunning landscapes, dotted with small oases and Berber villages nestled alongside the river.
Our next stop will be at the col at an altitude of 1100 meters near Kerdous Hotel, offering you a panoramic view of the enchanting Kerdous Valley. The vistas from this vantage point are truly magical and provide a unique perspective on the landscape.
Upon our arrival in Tafraoute, a charming Berber town in the southern part of Morocco, you will have the chance to explore the surrounding area. Here, you'll encounter prehistoric rock engravings, including the famous "Napoleon's Hat" and other painted rocks that tell stories of this ancient land.
As the day draws to a close, we will arrive in Tafraoute in the late evening. You'll enjoy dinner and spend the night in the comfort of a hotel, reflecting on the remarkable experiences of the day.
Our trip begins today as we say goodbye to Sidi Ifni and start off for Tafraoute, retracing our ways back to Tiznit. However, we'll shortly take a detour that will take us into the stunning Anti Atlas Mountains. As we travel through this lovely area, you'll have plenty of opportunity to stop and take in the breathtaking scenery, which is peppered with little oasis and Berber towns situated beside the river.
Our next stop will be to the col at 1100 meters at Kerdous Hotel, which will provide you with a panoramic view of the picturesque Kerdous Valley. The views from here are extremely stunning, offering a unique perspective on the landscape.
You will have the opportunity to explore the local region upon our arrival in Tafraoute, a picturesque Berber village in southern Morocco. Prehistoric rock carvings, including the famed "Napoleon's Hat," and other painted rocks tell the story of this ancient nation.
We'll arrive at Tafraoute in the late evening as the day comes to an end. You'll have supper and spend the night in a hotel, thinking on the incredible events of the day.
We'll proceed via Ait Baha and over the Tizi Mlil proceed on our way to Agadir. Along the route, you'll get to see the beautiful Ameln Valley and the majestic Jebel Lekst, which rises to a height of 2359 meters. Keep an eye out for the "Lion's Face" rock structure on the mountain, a spectacular natural beauty.
Our trek continues via the Anti Atlas mountain range's harsh landscape. We'll stop at the Tizergane Kasbah, an old castle built on a hillside beside the road. Exploring this historic monument reveals information about the region's past and architecture.
Following our visit to the kasbah, we'll continue on via Ait Baha, Ait Melloule, and many towns that dot the terrain. You'll be able to admire the magnificent views that unroll in front of your eyes, with thousands of almond and Argan trees weaving a captivating tapestry of hues and textures.
