Tour Plan

Your Moroccan odyssey commences in the captivating city of Tangier. Upon your arrival at the port, airport, or your selected accommodation, you'll be greeted by your expert tour guide. Your journey unfolds as you travel to Chefchaouen via Tetouan, treating you to scenic vistas along the way. Upon arriving in Chefchaouen, known as the Blue City, the true enchantment begins. Your exploration begins at Plaza Outa el-Hammam, the main square, where you'll dive into the local culture. This square, with its name derived from the numerous hammams (public baths) that once surrounded it, offers a wonderful place to start. Take a moment to relish a refreshing mint tea at a local restaurant while savoring panoramic views. Stroll through Chefchaouen's captivating blue-painted streets and capture the romantic moments with your camera. After a day filled with Chefchaouen's charm, your journey proceeds to the imperial city of Fes, where even more Moroccan wonders await.

Your day promises a journey through an array of Moroccan landscapes. Begin early, heading southeast to the incredible destination of Merzouga. Along the way, you'll make captivating stops. Your adventure commences in Ifrane, a charming city often referred to as the "Little Switzerland of Morocco." Take your time to explore the city and absorb its unique ambiance.

Next, you'll visit the Cedar forest of Azrou, where you'll encounter Berber apes and have the chance to capture lovely photos amidst this natural wonder. Continue your journey through the Tizi n’Talremt, a segment of the Little Atlas Mountains. Your lunch break will be in Midelt, offering regional flavors and a chance to rest in a charming setting.

The road then takes you through the Ziz valley, home to the second-largest palm grove in Morocco. This marks the shift in the atmosphere and landscape as you edge closer to the Saharan region. In Erfoud, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert, you'll explore the desert's unique character and the city's association with fossils. Visit local workshops and gain insights into the fascinating process of converting fossils into decorative pieces.

From Erfoud, your journey proceeds to the magnificent Erg Chebbi, known for its towering sand dunes that define the Sahara. Transition from your 4x4 vehicle to a traditional desert mode of travel – a private camel ride, with one camel per person. Embark on a unique desert excursion led by an experienced camel guide. Traverse the desert on camelback, enjoying the stunning sand dunes and witnessing a breathtaking sunset.

Your night is spent in a luxury desert camp, where you'll relish a delicious dinner served in the heart of the desert. Immerse yourself in the authentic and cultural experience of Sahara music under the starry sky. Your day concludes with a peaceful night's rest in a tent beneath the Sahara's dazzling stars.

Rise early to catch the sunrise at the highest point of the Merzouga Sahara desert. It's an opportunity to explore the sand dunes and embark on a remarkable journey. After your desert adventure, return to your desert camp for a quick wash and breakfast. Depart from Rissani toward the Todra gorges, with a stop at the small traditional souk (market). As you travel, you'll pass through various Berber villages.

Upon reaching the Oasis, you'll be treated to a fantastic view of Tinerhir. Continue to the Todra River, flanked by approximately 1,000 feet (305 meters) of striking red rocks. You might even spot climbers on these rock formations. Spend your leisure time walking beneath the 305-meter-high rock, relaxing, taking in the breathtaking scenery, or gazing into the cool waters of the small river below. Proceed to the Dades gorges for your overnight stay.

Continue your exclusive journey by crossing the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs and reaching Ouarzazate, where you'll visit the Film Atlas Studio and choose your favorite movie setting. Next, proceed to Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco's renowned kasbah (fortification). This UNESCO World Heritage site comprises a set of clay houses surrounded by towering walls, epitomizing a classic pre-Saharan habitat. Enjoy some free time to explore the entire area and capture beautiful photographs. Lunch will be provided.

Prepare for an exhilarating journey over the High Atlas Mountains, reaching 2,260 meters above sea level, along the route between Marrakech and Ouarzazate. The magnificent scenery and atmosphere of this region will captivate you. Pause at Tizi n'Tichka to capture breathtaking shots and rest before continuing your journey to Marrakech. Your four-day desert adventure concludes in Marrakech, marking the end of your remarkable cultural journey.
